WHY (LIVING FOR OTHERS)
Our name was coined from the understanding that our lives should bless or touch other people. We should not only live for ourselves, but also for the sake of others especially those who are disadvantaged. Living for others can be achieved through giving our time and resources to those who need them. Simply going beyond self. We emulate Jesus Christ who is perfect example of this concept. We believe through love, compassion and servant hood, we can transform our communities.

FOUNDERS STORY
It was only after taking a teaching job in Dandora that Caroline came in contact with the challenges facing children in the slum areas. Most children were forced to stay out of school because of the non-free items that they were required to have. Through active involvement in the children’s lives, she came to learn of the great talents that most of them possessed. Sadly, there were no effective programs or opportunities for them to explore their potential. Through serving in various non- profits, she also learnt that most of the problems affecting our communities, were caused by scarcity of information, i.e. a child will be constantly admitted in hospital because of malnutrition, while their parents own land that they could use to grow nutritious foods, schoolchildren would spend hours going to fetch water, yet technology could be used to bring water in school, or a child was raped and didn’t not know what to do about it. The big question was how to communicate sustainable change. She believes if change has to happen, involvement cannot be partial and discriminatory. Charity must go beyond hand-outs and programs must be designed by and for the intended audience. This is the way to achieve sustainability. All said, she believes we can revolutionize charity if all our acts were done through love compassion and true service to our communities.
